Five easy things to do to stay focused

Sometimes the simplest of things can be so complicated. They can even get the better of us. Here are five ways to avoid that.

  1. Make distractions your background noise: If you can’t get rid of things that are distracting through your control over your environment, accustom yourself to them. Relax your body, loosen up but be attentive. Static is soothing; let it do what it’s best at.
  2. Quieten your mind: Empty your mind. Visualize what you have to do. Once you’ve played out what you need to do in your head, doing it for real is your practice.
  3. Be confident: Do it! When you have to get something done, don’t hesitate. If something’s bothering you then there’s a lesson to be learned.
  4. Regularly introspect: Understanding yourself in your environment is the best way to stay cool-headed.
  5. Understand the bigger picture: The reason for doing what you’re doing should motivate you.

  1. Appreciating the commitment you put into your website and in depth information you
present. It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that
isn’t the same unwanted rehashed information. Excellent read!

I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to
    my Google account.

  2. I was curious if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
